Issue 20/1 has just been published

2020-07-13

Dear Colleagues, Authors and Readers,

The first issue of 2020 has just been published. It includes a Thematic Section on "Financial discourse: Narrative, argument and the discursive dynamics of (un-)sustainable trust" as well as a General Section. Moreover, the current issue contains two book reviews and a manifesto that is published in our Community Section. All in all, the articles address a broad range of topics and demonstrate that SComS is a forum for research that crosses disciplinary boundaries, thereby analyzing public communication from various perspectives.

Parts of this issue were already published Online First. This recently introduced section allows SComS to provide immediate open access to its content and we look forward to future research articles being published in this section.

We would like to thank the guest editors, Carlo Raimondo and Andrea Rocci, and all authors for their contributions to this issue. A big thank you also goes to our two partners, the open access team from the Main Library of the University of Zurich as well as Christine Hirzel and Peter Rusterholz from the Seismo Verlag.

We hope that you will enjoy reading this issue.
