Issue 22/3 published

2022-12-28

Dear Colleagues, Authors, and Readers,

The third issue of 2022 has just been published. We are proud having published three issues in one year for the very first time. The current issue is dedicated to a Thematic Section titled “Changing Communication of Higher Education Institutions”. The General Section comprises studies on the value of face-to-face communication in a world where digital communication technologies are omnipresent as well as on the framing of an Imam. Furthermore, the issue contains a dissertation summary, a discussion on working conditions of early career scientists and is complemented by one book review.

Within the Editorial of this Issue you will find statistics on submissions, acceptances and rejections regarding SComS in the year 2021. Three articles of this issues’ Thematic Section as well as both papers in the General Section were already published in our Online First Section. If you would like to be regularly informed about new publications in SComS, we invite you to follow us on Twitter.

We would like to thank the guest editors, Silke Fürst, Daniel Vogler, Isabel Sörensen, and Mike S. Schäfer, and all authors for their contributions to this issue. A big thank-you also goes to our two partners, the open access team from the Main Library of the University of Zurich , especially to Margit Dellatorre and Martin Brändle, as well as Christine Hirzel and Peter Rusterholz from Seismo Press. We are also very grateful for the support of the Swiss Academy of Humanities and Social Sciences (SAGW).

We hope that you will enjoy reading this issue.
