Issue 23/1 has just been published

2023-04-24

Dear Colleagues, Authors, and Readers,

This year’s first issue has just been published. The current issue is dedicated to the Thematic Section on “Historizing international organizations and their communication – institutions, practices, changes” with five original contributions. The General Section is composed of two studies whereas one is reflecting on the issue of fragmentation and thus insufficient integration of findings from individual studies. The other contribution proposes a typology of children media users.

Four out of five articles of this issues’ Thematic Section as well as one in the General Section were already published in our Online First Section. If you would like to be regularly informed about new publications in SComS, we invite you to follow us on Twitter.

We seize the opportunity to say thank you to the guest editors, Erik Koenen, Arne L. Gellrich, Christian Schwarzenegger, Stefanie Averbeck-Lietz, and Astrid Blome, as well as all authors for their contributions to this issue. A big thank-you also goes to our two partners, the open access team from the Main Library of the University of Zurich, especially to Margit Dellatorre and Martin Brändle as well as Christine Hirzel and Peter Rusterholz from Seismo Press. We are also very grateful for the support of the Swiss Academy of Humanities and Social Sciences (SAGW).

We hope that you will enjoy reading this issue.
